Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Philadelphia Keystones and New York City Blues.

The New York City Blues could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Leo Canales into a win. Instead, the Philadelphia Keystones prevailed, 5-3. Canales threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Kyle Fox, the winning pitcher, improved to 3-2. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 7 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 5.

Adrian Robertson came through with a big-time hit for Philadelphia. The right fielder smacked a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It was a solid team effort," said Robertson after the game.

Philadelphia is now 11-15, while New York City is 16-10.
