Knights Earn Late 4-3 Win
The Los Angeles Knights did just enough to sneak past the Chicago Union, 4-3, at Trident Field. Los Angeles pitcher Josh Bruntlett, in particular, had a standout performance. Luke Dickerson closed the door for Los Angeles, picking up his 5th save of the year. The win for the Knights raised their record to 12-11.

Los Angeles used the timely hitting of Greg Sprenger to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Knights on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

Los Angeles manager Jason Tudor was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard," he said.
