The Chicago Union handed the Los Angeles Knights a 6-5 defeat at Trident Field. Left Fielder Joe Scott starred for Chicago. He went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Fidel Santiago got credit for the save for Chicago. It was his 7th of the year. Chicago has run its win streak to 5 consecutive.

Chicago took a 6-5 lead on Danny Falchonelli's 2nd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Falchonelli hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Los Angeles pitcher Buddy Hofman visibly frustrated.
