Big Day for Sandoval in 7-5 Texans Win
Dallas catcher David Sandoval played a vital role in his team's 7-5 conquest of St. Louis. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for Dallas. The loss puts St. Louis at 6-7.

Ashton Shelton had a big 2-run home run for the Texans in the bottom of the first inning. With Dallas leading 3-0 and a runner on 3rd, he sized up a fastball from Ryan Williams, who finished 4th in the PBC in strikeouts with 169 last year, and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Texans on top, 5-0.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Texans manager Jesus Sanchez. "This one was nice to get."
