Vancouver-Newark Announce Deal Monday, December 5th , 2011 The Vancouver Bruins have made a deal sending 29-year old 3B Hisaaki Murakami and 22-year old minor league LF Franck Castaneda to the Newark Eagles for 29-year old CF Ryan Conti. Both sides are said to be pleased with the way the trade worked out. Murakami boasts a lifetime batting average of .255 with 135 hits, 17 homers, 56 runs scored and 56 RBIs. |
