Calgary Swaps Kelley to Las Vegas for de la Cruz Thursday, November 24th , 2011 Everybody is overjoyed with a trade consummated today by the Calgary Caracals and the Las Vegas Rollers. In the deal Calgary got 32-year old LHP Felipe de la Cruz from Las Vegas and dealt 35-year old minor league CF Geoff Kelley to the Rollers. The general managers that made the swap are happy and the players are happy, too. One of the GMs commented, "This was a good swap for all concerned." Over his career Kelley has batted .177 and collected 88 hits, 13 home runs and 34 RBIs. During his career, de la Cruz has posted a 1-and-1 record with 1 save and a 4.57 ERA. |
