Allentown Trades Williams for Vacaville's Izyurov Tuesday, November 22nd , 2011 Earlier today, officials from the Allentown Fleetwings and the Vacaville Steelheads announced that they had finalized negotiations on a trade between the two teams. The deal will send 29-year old CF Evan Williams and 24-year old minor league RF David Sergeant to Vacaville in exchange for 18-year old minor league 2B Andrusha Izyurov. Williams is batting .210 with 174 career base hits, including 41 doubles, 1 triple and 6 home runs with 68 RBIs and 75 runs scored. He has played in 226 games, stolen 33 bases and compiled a .282 OBP. |
