Trade: Corkle for Green Sunday, November 20th , 2011 Green Bay and Ottawa announced some roster changes today as the Braves acquired 29-year old 2B Jerry Green from the Capitals in exchange for 30-year old LF Rob Corkle and $3,600 in cash. Representatives from both teams say they are pleased with the deal. Lifetime Corkle is batting .241 with 34 doubles, 2 triples, 36 home runs and 113 RBIs in 292 games. Lifetime Green has hit for a .251 average and totaled 196 hits, 21 home runs and 95 RBIs. |
