Moss and Torres Swapped Wednesday, November 9th , 2011 After prolonged negotiations Ottawa agreed to ship 32-year old LF J.D. Moss to Vacaville for 31-year old LHP Jared Crocker, 23-year old minor league RF Tatsumi Kubo, and 21-year old minor league C Roberto Torres. The deal is awaiting confirmation from the league office but neither team expects any hang-ups. "It took longer than expected," said one GM, "but we knew that the deal was going to happen." Moss has hit for a .276 career average and totaled 243 hits, 35 home runs and 129 RBIs. |
