It was an impressive debut for Southern California left fielder Alan Lee. For his solid performance, he has been chosen the best of the 2011 freshman class in the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit.
The 29-year-old novice carved out a .316 average during the regular season, playing in 88 games and gathering 113 hits in 358 at-bats. Lee hit 6 home runs while driving in 41 runs and scoring 42 times. He also picked up 15 walks to post a .342 on-base percentage.
