Murphy Hurls Steelheads to 6-0 Shutout Win Thursday, October 20th , 2011 Mike Murphy handcuffed the Mexico City Aztecas at Ballpark of Vacaville, coming away with a 3-hit, complete game shutout. "I had everything working for me out there," the Vacaville Steelheads right-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted." With his stuff working, Murphy had little trouble with the Aztecas and led the Steelheads to victory, 6-0. He recorded 8 strikeouts and 2 walks in an impressive performance.
