Detroit on Top of Central Division Thursday, September 29th , 2011 Grown men turned into little boys, some even breaking into tears, in the Detroit Chargers clubhouse, after the team clinched the Central Division. "We can relax a bit, for now anyway," said manager Bill Brown. "I'm proud of every guy in the room for what we've done this season." The club has a 53-33 record as they head towards the playoffs in search of their 1st SPBC Classic Series championship. Center Fielder Matt Harrington said the team is happy to clinch what is the club's 2nd division title, but "wouldn't be happy until we're lifting that trophy." |
