Glaser Wins SPBC Best Player Award Monday, September 26th , 2011 A battle-tested Josh Glaser declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 38-year-old Las Vegas left fielder collected the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit Player of the Week Award. He wrapped up the week with a .478 average, 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Thus far this season, Glaser is hitting .272 with 17 home runs, 33 RBIs and 45 runs scored. He has 75 hits in 276 at-bats and has played in 76 games. |
