SPBC Top Batter Trophy Won by King Thursday, September 1st , 2011 Riley King is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Saskatoon left fielder joined that select company when the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit announced the results of August's voting. King totaled 33 hits, 11 walks, 5 home runs, 23 RBIs and 14 runs scored last month to put together a .371 batting average and .441 on-base percentage. Thus far this year, King is batting .308 with 15 home runs, 57 RBIs and 41 runs scored. |
