Buffaloes Reliever Cops Pitching Award Monday, August 1st , 2011 Pat Winston was pure poison coming out of the Buffaloes bullpen in July. For his outstanding performance, he picked up the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit Pitcher of the Month award. The Winnipeg Buffaloes reliever had no saves for the month with a 5-0 record and 1.12 ERA. He made no relief appearances, hurled 40.1 innings, yielded 20 hits, fanned 36 and walked 10. This year, Winston has notched no saves. He has 56 strikeouts and 20 walks in 64 innings while registering a 2.11 ERA and a 5-0 won-lost record. |
