Aztecas Clip Eagles, 2-1, in DCS Contest
The Mexico City Aztecas and the Newark Eagles will take the Division Championship Series to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the Aztecas beat the Eagles, 2-1, at Eagles Park to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Mexico City right-hander Justin Picton had a big role in the win. He threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball.

Picton allowed 1 run on 5 hits over 7 innings for the Aztecas. He walked 1 and struck out 8.

"Every team in baseball loses," Eagles manager Ken Tyler said. "We're in the playoffs and we still have the same guys that got us here. We'll bounce back."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Eagles Park in Newark.
