In 10, Quebec City Beats Ottawa, 5-4
The Quebec City Admirals dealt the Ottawa Capitals a 5-4 loss in 10 innings at Capitals Stadium. Craig Lafer was the star on offense. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times. Quebec City reliever Jose Coronado picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Markus Niemikorpi took the loss. Quebec City sits in second place in the East Division at 24-17.

Lafer had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a first pitch fastball from Markus Niemikorpi, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Admirals a 5-4 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Lafer.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Quebec City field general Curtis Holtz.
