Oppelt Is SPBC Batting Champ Tuesday, September 30th , 2008 Dave Oppelt of the Hamilton Tigers was named Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit batting champion today. The 31-year-old first baseman hit .350 with 13 home runs and 61 RBIs during the 2008 campaign, collecting 114 hits in 326 at-bats, while playing in 86 games. |
