No Late-Season Magic Coming: Hamilton Out of Playoffs Saturday, September 27th , 2008 It's a better-luck-next-year situation for the Hamilton Tigers, as the club today became mathematically eliminated from postseason consideration. Team manager Tim Ebbers said, "It's always a letdown" to miss the playoffs, but added that the club's effort was appreciated. This is the 2nd time in a row that the Tigers have missed the playoffs.Their last payoff appearance was in 2006. |
