Jon MacMillan, who is tied for 4th in the SPBC in wins with 9, was terrific for the Sherbrooke Canadians in his team's 3-1 triumph over the Green Bay Braves. His performance earned MacMillan rave reviews. Nick Minns recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 6 for 6. With the win, the Canadians have a record of 39-37.

Ferruccio Viotti had a direct impact on the outcome. Viotti contributed a 2-run single in the top of the first inning to put Sherbrooke up, 3-0.

"Jon throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said Sherbrooke manager John Guzman.
