Conditions were not ideal but Calgary and Quebec City were able to put their game in the books.
Quebec City had no answer for Calgary Caracals hurler Steve Arthur, who overwhelmed Admirals hitters as the Caracals coasted to victory, 6-1. Arthur picked up the win for Calgary, going 5.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 3-9.
Calgary relied on the hitting of Jorge Bonilla to pick up the win. The first baseman ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the sixth inning to put the Caracals on top, 3-0. For the game, Bonilla had 1 triple and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"Today was a lot of fun," said Bonilla.
The victory puts Calgary at 30-44.
