9-7 Win for Allentown in Extras
Detroit first baseman Chad Uecker had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Uecker went 2-5 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2, even as Allentown beat the Chargers, 9-7, in 10 innings. Allentown now has a record of 37-32 with the win.

Allentown used the timely hitting of Steve Abraham to seize the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Fleetwings on top, 9-7. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Enjoyed this one," Abraham told the Allentown Daily News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
