Big Day for Abraham in 6-4 Fleetwings Win

Steve Abraham knocked in 3 runs to help Allentown beat Ottawa, 6-4. The Tumwater, Washington native tallied 1 single and 1 home run. Chris Roessler earned the win to go to 5-2. He allowed 2 runs on 4 hits, with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work. Allentown now has a record of 36-31 with the win.
Abraham had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-1 fastball from Willie Cantu, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Fleetwings a 4-2 lead. It was the 13th home run of the year for Abraham.
Allentown manager Craig McCain was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard, they played all the way through," he said.
