Chargers, McIntosh Deal Drillers 2-0 Setback
In a tight tilt between the Detroit Chargers and the Edmonton Drillers, Eric McIntosh was the deciding factor. The Detroit right-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. Jon Walter earned the save for Detroit, his 7th of the year. The Chargers raised their record to 31-32.

McIntosh, a native of Kirksville, Missouri, was dealing all game. He kept Edmonton hitters off-balance, while giving the Chargers 8 quality innings. McIntosh threw 106 pitches, allowing 7 hits and striking out 7.

"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said McIntosh.
