The Saskatoon Moose defeated the Allentown Fleetwings, 7-3, at Moose Grounds. Jason Buckner, who is tied for 3rd in the SPBC in stolen bases with 30, was a standout performer for Saskatoon. His 3 hits included 2 singles and 1 double -- this in addition to the 1 run he scored and 3 he knocked in. Chris Ness went 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits. The right-hander, who is tied for 5th in the SPBC in quality starts with 11, struck out 7 and walked 2. With the win, he's now 4-7 this season. The 5th-place Moose improved to 25-36.

Saskatoon grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Buckner hit a 2-run double off Steve Post. His 18th double of the season put the Moose out in front, 3-1.
