The Allentown Fleetwings saddled the Albany Senators with a loss at Senators Field. The final score was 7-4. Seigo Yamamoto was 3 for 6, including 2 singles and 1 home run. The Allentown right fielder scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Bailey Breen earned the save for Allentown. With the win, Allentown goes to 33-27, while the Senators fall to 32-28.
Allentown used the timely hitting of Paul Oldham to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Fleetwings on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
In postgame comments to the Allentown Daily News, Yamamoto said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
