Herring Delivers Walk-Off Win for Steelheads
The 5-4 Vacaville win over Las Vegas was due in large part to Jared Herrick. The Steelheads left fielder was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The first-place Steelheads have a one-game lead in their division.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Vacaville designated hitter Craig Herring, facing Erik Ritter, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Steelheads the 5-4 win.
