The Ottawa Capitals grabbed a win, 6-4, over the Southern California Empires at Capitals Stadium. Ottawa center fielder Luis Vizcarra went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Aaron Cox, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-0. He allowed 3 runs on 3 hits in 3.2 innings. Ottawa leads the East Division by 2½ games.
