Bruins Rally For Late Win Over Aztecas
The Vancouver Bruins scored a tight, 4-3 win versus the Mexico City Aztecas at Estadio Azteca. Vancouver pitcher Nick Green held his own in the contest. Joel Brewer snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits over 2 innings. He's now 1-3 on the season. The 4th-place Bruins improved to 22-27.

Vancouver needed the clutch hitting of Matt Longo to seal the deal. The designated hitter swatted a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Bruins on top, 4-3. For the game, Longo had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Mexico City skipper Zack Englund, "and it cost us."
