Chargers Get Clutch Win Versus Vancouver
|
Detroit turned a fine outing from starter Curt Feehley into a victory over the Vancouver Bruins at Chargers Field. The final score was 2-1 in 10 innings. Their 14-19 record puts the Chargers 5th in the Central Division.
The Chargers got a clutch hit from right fielder Kevin Raith. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Chargers.
"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Raith said in his postgame press conference.
