The Albany Senators got a magnificent performance from pitcher Alan Staubitz, who muffled the Vacaville offense en route to a tight, 3-1 Senators win at Senators Field. The third-place Senators have won 5 in a row.
Danny Keown's at-bat in the bottom of the fifth inning was a big one for Albany. Coming to bat with two out, a runner on 2nd and Albany trailing 1-0, the right fielder reached on an error by the right fielder, driving in 1 run.
