The Allentown Fleetwings went down to defeat to Rhys Fox and his Quebec City teammates. The final score was 5-2, in favor of the Admirals. The winning pitcher was Fox, now 3-3. He tossed 5.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 2. T.J. Johnson picked up the save for Quebec City, his 4th of the year.
In the bottom of the fourth, Torvald Gomez delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and the bases loaded, the Quebec City second baseman hit a 2-run single, putting the Admirals in front, 5-2.
"For the most part, I didn't think they knew what was coming," said Fox.
The Admirals sit in 4th place in the East Division with a record of 14-11.
