Rollers Absorb 3-2 Home Loss
|
Starting pitcher Alan Staubitz gave the Albany Senators a rock-solid effort. The Cleves, Ohio native helped his team defeat the Las Vegas Rollers, 3-2, at Vegas Stadium. Staubitz got the win, improving to 3-1. He gave up 4 hits and walked 0 over 7 innings. He allowed 2 runs. The Senators now have a record of 13-11.
Albany used the hitting of Heriberto Rodriguez to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Senators on top, 2-0. For the game, Rodriguez had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
