The Allentown Fleetwings earned a close win over the Vancouver Bruins, thanks in part to Tom Clifton. The Allentown right-hander, who is tied for 8th in the SPBC in quality starts with 4, played a key role in the 3-2 victory. The win for the Fleetwings lifted their record to 13-9.

Paul Oldham was the walk-off hero for Allentown. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Fleetwings designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We couldn't have scripted it any better," Clifton said in his postgame press conference.
