The Allentown Fleetwings got a rain-soaked win over the Mexico City Aztecas.
Ryan Ream left his imprint on the 8-3 Allentown win against the Mexico City Aztecas. Ream, who is tied for 5th in the SPBC in home runs with 5, went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Sam Kenney picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Zeke Music was tagged with the loss. Danny Teague earned the save for Allentown, his 3rd of the year.
Paul Oldham, who is tied for 5th in the SPBC in bases on balls with 18, helped out the Allentown cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the designated hitter was 1 for 3 with 2 walks.
"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Ream.
Allentown is now 11-9.
