The Sherbrooke Canadians could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Jon MacMillan into a win. Instead, the Vacaville Steelheads prevailed, 3-0. MacMillan threw 6.2 innings of shutout ball. The 5th-place Canadians have lost 5 straight games.
