Fleetwings Take Nail-Biter Over Buffaloes
The Allentown Fleetwings defeated the Winnipeg Buffaloes, 5-4, in 12 innings in Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit action at Fleetwings Ballpark. Allentown pitcher Andy Taylor had a standout performance. The Buffaloes drop to 5-5 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2008 season.

The decisive blow was delivered by Sean Nicholson in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a solo home run off 31-year old left-handed pitcher John Stockton to win the game for Allentown. The home crowd went nuts.

"It was a test of wills," said Craig McCain, the Allentown skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."
