Mexico City third baseman David Bevier made his presence felt in the 7-5 Aztecas triumph over the Vacaville Steelheads. Bevier went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. With the win, Mexico City lifts its record to 2-2.

With Mexico City leading 4-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Bevier hit a fastball from Mario Valdovinos for a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Aztecas ahead, 6-1.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Mexico City manager Zack Englund.
