Green Bay Braves starter Joe Bell had all his pitches working at Senators Field. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 9-2 Green Bay win over the Albany Senators. Green Bay, now 2-0, is setting the league on fire so far.

Tim Maguire had a big 2-run double for the Braves in the top of the second inning. With Green Bay leading 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a knuckle curve from 36-year old right-handed pitcher Bill Kuhn and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Braves ahead, 4-0.

"We took a roundhouse punch to the chin," said losing manager Luke Garwood.
