15 Ks for Ogawa, Beats El Paso 12-0 Friday, August 3rd , 2007 Toshifumi Ogawa of the Boston Battalion put on a pitching clinic at El Paso Park, as he struck out 15 El Paso Mavericks in a 12-0 victory. Ogawa, who is tied for 2nd in the ABC with a 14.7 K/9 rate, was simply magnificent, holding the Mavericks to 4 hits. He walked 0. "I felt okay at the beginning," Ogawa said, "but eventually my fastball really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Ogawa's performance, Battalion manager Oscar Diaz shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating."
