Kayser Awarded August's SPBC Top Bat Prize Friday, September 1st , 2006 Chris Kayser put together a good August to earn the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Winnipeg officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Buffaloes right fielder posted a .396 batting average with 5 home runs, 15 RBIs and 24 runs scored. This year, Kayser is batting .283 with 11 home runs. |
