Konishi Too Tough, Blanks Green Bay Tuesday, August 8th , 2006 Bunjiro Konishi hurled a fine game for the Calgary Caracals at Braves Ballpark, holding the Green Bay Braves to 5 hits in a shutout win. "When he started out, his command wasn't that good, but he's a tough guy," Calgary manager Rodolfo Ramirez said. "The more pitches he throws, the better his command is." The right-hander had 9 strikeouts and 2 walks in the 7-0 victory. "An outstanding job," Green Bay manager Joe Sanchez said. "We couldn't get anything going.
