Araujo Records 2-0 Shutout Against Winnipeg Friday, July 21st , 2006 The Allentown Fleetwings did little to support starter Jorge Araujo against the Winnipeg Buffaloes, but it turned out he didn't need the help. The right-hander spun a complete game shutout against the Buffaloes, striking out 7 and surrendering 3 hits. The performance from Araujo allowed Allentown to escape with the 2-0 win, despite an anemic offense. "Nobody came to me and said, 'Jorge, we're gonna need you to win this one for us today,' but I could feel it," Araujo told BNN reporters following the win. "I'm the guy that will step up for you when you need it." This year, Araujo has worked 57.2 innings with 44 strikeouts en route to a 4-1 record and a 2.65 ERA.
