Aloe Thwarts Winnipeg, 4-0 Thursday, July 20th , 2006 The Winnipeg Buffaloes met their match today in Allentown hurler Mike Aloe. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 2-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Winnipeg skipper Matt Bryant said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 4-0 victory, Aloe whiffed 8 and gave up 3 walks. Thus far this season, Aloe has posted a 3-2 record, started 8 games, struck out 54 batters in 52.2 innings and compiled a 4.10 ERA.
