Ottawa's Lovely Snags Pitcher of the Year Award Wednesday, November 1st , 2006 The 2006 Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit Pitcher of the Year Award has gone to Ottawa Capitals ace Scott Lovely after a stellar 13-5 season. In 22 starts he piled up 177.1 innings, 159 strikeouts, 60 walks and a 2.28 ERA. Lovely held opposing hitters to a .206 batting average. He received 15 first place votes out of a possible 16. Kjeld Sijbrandij of the Edmonton Drillers finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Dan Turner of the Edmonton Drillers finished third.
