Caracals Sweep Albany in SPC Classic Series Tuesday, October 17th , 2006 The Calgary Caracals made it look easy today as they collected the 1st SPC Classic Series championship in club history. They swept the Albany Senators in straight games, winning the series 4-0. The Caracals disposed of Albany 7-6 in the series finale at Senators Field. "They were the better team this year, no doubt about it," said Senators manager Luke Garwood. During the regular season, Calgary put up a 56-32 record and finished first in the West Division.
