Dan Turner Blanks Saskatoon, 1-0 Wednesday, October 4th , 2006 Dan Turner of the Edmonton Drillers overwhelmed the Saskatoon Moose and walked off the mound with a complete-game shutout. He blanked them, 1-0, on 6 hits with a total of 5 strikeouts and 1 walk. "Dan was on quite a roll," Edmonton manager George Muller said. "He gets great late movement and he doesn't give in to the hitters." Checking out his stats for the season, Turner has racked up 11 wins and 6 losses in 22 starts, posted a 2.68 ERA, and struck out 101 batters in 174.2 innings.
