Quebec City Rookie Star Sparkles Sunday, October 1st , 2006 In September, Juan Tineo knocked Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit pitchers all over the ballpark all month long and put up numbers good enough to be voted the Rookie of the Month. Last month, the 26-year-old Quebec City first baseman played in 20 games and hit .301 with 5 doubles, no triples and 6 home runs. Tineo also scored 17 times and drove in 16 runs.
