Jon Cordova Claims 2006 SPBC Batting Title Saturday, September 30th , 2006 Jon Cordova, the talented Saskatoon left fielder, has added to his list of accomplishments the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit batting title. The 33-year-old Cordova finished the season with a .324 average to earn the accolade. In his standout year he also had 100 hits, 14 doubles, 1 triple, and 14 home runs. Cordova played in 80 games, drove in 49 runs, and scored 47 times. |
