Brophy Torches Buffaloes for 5 Hits Wednesday, September 27th , 2006 5 times is the charm -- at least for Chris Brophy. The Mexico City Aztecas catcher tore up the Winnipeg Buffaloes to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Goldeyes Park. The offensive onslaught from Brophy powered the 13-12 Aztecas win. "Brophy was a tough out," Winnipeg manager Matt Bryant said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Chris Brophy grounded out in the 2nd, hit a sac fly in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th, singled in the 10th and hit an RBI single in the 12th.
